We can't wait to celebrate with you on the island where we first met. This page has everything you need: the weekend's plan, how to get here, where to stay and what to wear. Please RSVP below, including your flight details if you'd like a seat on our airport shuttle.

The weekend

Friday 11.06

  1. Welcome drinks

    Sunset Bar (sample), on the beach in Agios Nikitas. Casual, come as you are.

Saturday 12.06

  1. Shuttle leaves

    From the Agios Nikitas village car park (top of the hill). A second shuttle leaves Lefkada Town at 16:30 from the main square.

  2. Ceremony

    Villa Elaia (sample venue), on the terrace overlooking the sea.

  3. Cocktails & sunset
  4. Dinner
  5. Dancing
  6. Last shuttle back

    Shuttles run every 45 minutes from 23:00.

Sunday 13.06

  1. Farewell brunch

    A beach taverna at Kathisma (sample). Swimsuits welcome.

Getting here

Easiest

Fly to Preveza (PVK)

Preveza-Aktion airport is the closest, about 40 minutes by road from Agios Nikitas. Direct flights from the UK and many European cities run in summer only (roughly May to October), so book early, as June seats sell out.

Via Athens (ATH)

More flight options year-round. From Athens, either take a short domestic flight to Preveza (not every day) or drive about 4½ hours.

Via Corfu (CFU)

Possible but slow: ferry to Igoumenitsa, then about 2 hours' drive. Plan for 4 hours or more door to door.

Airport shuttle

We've booked shared shuttles from Preveza airport on 10 and 11 June. Add your flight number to the RSVP and our planner will place you on the right one. Taxis are scarce in summer, so if you arrive on another day, please pre-book.

You'll cross onto the island by a short floating bridge, which swings open for boats on the hour, so allow a few extra minutes. Hiring a car is the best way to explore. Parking in Agios Nikitas village is limited, so use the car park at the top.

Closest

Agios Nikitas

A small seaside village 10 minutes from the venue. Walk to the welcome drinks and the shuttle. Rooms are limited, so book first.

Most choice

Lefkada Town

Lively old town with restaurants and bars, 15 minutes' drive away. Our second shuttle leaves from here.

For groups

Kathisma & Kalamitsi

Villas with pools and sunset views on the hills. Best if you're sharing with friends and have a car.

What to wear

Summer formal

  • Light fabrics. It's usually around 27°C in mid-June, cooling in the evening.
  • The ceremony is on a stone and gravel terrace, so skip stilettos and bring block heels or flats.
  • Bring a light layer: the evening breeze off the sea can be cool.
  • Sunglasses and sunscreen for the ceremony. The sun sets over the sea around 21:00.

Questions

Are children welcome?

We love your little ones, but this will be an adults-only celebration. Our planner can recommend trusted babysitters on the island.

Can I bring a plus-one?

The RSVP is set up for the people named on your invitation. If you're unsure, just ask us.

Money and phones

Greece uses the euro. Cards are accepted almost everywhere, but carry some cash for small tavernas and beach sunbeds. EU phone plans work as at home; check roaming if you're coming from outside the EU.

Gifts

Having you travel all this way is the gift. If you'd still like to give something, a contribution to our honeymoon would mean a lot. There'll be a card box at the dinner.

Can I take photos?

We'd love an unplugged ceremony: phones away until we're married. Our photographer will share the photos afterwards. Snap away at the party!

Is the venue accessible?

The terrace has a few stone steps. If you need help getting around, please message our planner directly and we'll make sure you're comfortable.

Anything else to pack?

Swimwear, mosquito repellent for evenings, and comfortable shoes for the village lanes.
